Your vote and your privacy

We count votes and nothing else: this week's vote keeps three numbers, one for each look. You don't sign in to vote, and our vote counter stores no name, email address or IP address. So that you vote only once, your browser remembers which look you chose, on your own device; clearing this site's data in your browser forgets it. To stop one place sending a flood of votes, the counter holds your connection's address in memory for at most two minutes and then forgets it. The counter is our own, run on Google Cloud in London, and Google's own systems log each request, including the address it came from, as web services do. The rest of this page is the shop's, under our privacy policy.
